The Stevens Family

Although it is summer time, we have been keeping busy!

Kyle has been transitioning into his head coaching position in Frisco by attending weights each morning, ordering equipment and learning about his new school.  We listed our house in the hopes of selling it and finding a new one to lessen the drive time for Kyle.

And, of course, Dylan has been keeping us busy as well. In the last few days he has begin “crawling” a little better and much quicker than before. Here he is chasing me around the living room…

He has also begun laughing more frequently. He enjoys being tickled and jostled about. Kyle got some audio of Dylan laughing the other morning… so cute!

Oh, and Dylan is getting TWO teeth! His bottom two front teeth are coming in which seem to have disrupted his sleep schedule a bit. He is SUPER active during the day but has woken up twice in the past few days instead of sleeping through the night. I will try to get some photos of his little teeth soon (razor-sharp teeth I might add).

Yesterday we started feeding Dylan his baby food and cereal for lunch and dinner (instead of just dinner), so he is eating with a spoon twice a day now. We also started letting him drink water from a sippy cup. At first he was not sure what to do with the little spout. He tried to suck it like a nipple and then just chewed on it a bit, but he is beginning to figure it out.

And I think that is pretty much it for the news update…

Dylan’s baby pool party is coming up on Saturday so I am sure I will have some cute photos and videos to share soon from his first little get together.
