The Stevens Family

Yesterday was Dylan’s 4 month birthday!! He has his check-up and shots tomorrow, so I will post some pictures and stats after we visit the doctor.

I haven’t taken many pictures lately (with the “real” camera at least), but I will share some of the ones I have taken with my cell phone camera in a bit… but first some news…

• It is official now. Dylan is sleeping through the night! My last post hinted that he might have started along this path, and it seems that he has. For over a week now, he has gone to bed between 7:00-7:30pm and gotten up between 5:30-6:30am. Woo hoo!
• He has also been sleeping unswaddled for about a month or so… what a big boy!
• He wants to stand pretty much ALL the time… it is cute but a little tiresome for the parental units.
• He is making some new “squealing” and “screaming” type noises that are pretty interesting.
• He has also been trying to sit up on his own for about 2 weeks now… it is pretty cute. He looks like he is trying to do a sit-up but just can’t quite make it, and then he gets frustrated at himself so Kyle or I have to give him some help.
• Oh, and he turned over from his back to his stomach again last night (Kyle didn’t see it so I know he is not going to believe it), but he did it… it is the second time he has done it now so maybe he almost has the skill fully developed.

Okay, on to the pictures… they are from my cell phone, so the quality may not be super, but they are still super cute.

Dylan kept spitting up so I stripped him down to his skivvies and wrapped him in a blanket instead of dressing him AGAIN. He seemed to enjoy it.

Mr. Bear was in the wash so Dylan snuggled up for a nap with the hippo his Mamma gave him.

Dylan is trying out the Exesaucer at daycare. He decided he likes it, and he needs one for the house as well.

And here is the sweet little baby after I put him to bed last night… at 6:45pm! He was worn out from playing all day!
