WANTED: Mr. Bear

Dylan has become quite attached to Mr. Bear. Mr. Bear sleeps in the crib with Dylan, goes to daycare with Dylan, swings with him and makes Dylan feel better when he gets fidgety and fussy. The other day when I was shopping at Target I decided to buy a spare Mr. Bear in case something happens to the “real” one. Imagine my chagrin when instead of Mr. Bear, there was a white bunny with pink lettering in his spot on the shelf… NO MR. BEAR!

I looked on Target.com and there is no Mr. Bear online either. :(

I have taken some photos of him in the hopes that one of you can help us locate a spare Mr. Bear or two.

Mr. Bear is a Carter’s Just One Year. He is light brown with mint green lettering that says my first bear, and he is very cute.

As you can see from the picture below, Dylan is quite concerned about us not being able to find another Mr. Bear. If you could help us out, I would appreciate it and little Dylan would be so happy!

  1. [...] week I posted a plea for Dylan’s readers to help him find another Mr. Bear, and today he received this menacing [...]

  2. Alex (1.22.09) has a bear too…I bought backup bear on ebay for $35. Recently, I tried the old switcharoo, because bear was getting too dirty and I wanted to work in backup bear. Alex at first was puzzled, then rejected backup bear. He sniffed out the imposter. The dogs have since chewed off backup bear’s nose.

  3. I need one too! My little one is attached and can’t sleep without it! I’m afraid she will loose it!

  4. I feel your pain, and hope you have found a new bear. My son uses his as security, never does anything without it, until recently when we were visiting walmart, as we were leaving i noticed it “bear, bear” was missing, i searched the store for 3 hours, I think i cried harder then my son did. We are also on the search for a new bear.

  5. I am desperate to find a bear just like your Mr.Bear. My son Hugo has had the same “My first bear” for 3 years and it went missing this week… she answers to the name “kim” or “Kimmy bear” , I am not holding out much hope on her being returned because she is adorable but if I could find one in a shop I would definitely buy him a replacement, though I’m not sure it will be the same :( would be nice if anyone knows where I could buy one because I live in the U.K. and Kimmy bear came from the U.S.
