The Stevens Family

Today Phillip came over and we took Dylan over to meet Baby Brynleigh for the first time! Neither of us had been to Sarah’s house before, so we plugged the address in to my handy GPS and headed over. We stopped and picked up some Pei Wei (which was completely out of the way because I chose the WRONG one to go to… ugh) to take to the Seifipours because Sarah was so nice about bringing me lunch after Dylan was born.

Upon arrival to the house, Phillip began scarfing down his food (of course) and Dylan promptly spit up all over his new outfit (of course).  I cleaned him up and then he got to sit in Brynleigh’s bouncy seat for a little bit until he started getting fussy (Miss Brynleigh was being cute and sleeping through all of this).

Dylan gave Brynleigh her Valentine’s gift (a cute sleeper and a little book with a bunny finger puppet) and Miss Brynleigh gave Dylan an Olivia board book which we plan on reading tonight.

After the gift exchange, we hung out for a bit, ate our Pei Wei, watched TV and compared Brynleigh’s size to Dylan’s. Basically, Dylan is ENORMOUS compared to petite little Brynleigh.

Before we left, we decided to take a few pictures of Dylan and Brynleigh side-by-side.

They look cute and peaceful in this picture… like they were sleeping, but they were not.

And, when I got home and reviewed the photos below… it looks like Dylan is punching little Brynleigh! I can assure you that he is not; he is not that kind of boy. There was no baby boxing at the Seifipour house! They seemed to like each other, and I am sure they will be friends once they get old enough to actually acknowledge each other.

Dylan thinks little Brynleigh is quite cute (and so do I).
