Now that Dylan has passed the one month mark, he is old enough to be able to do some things. Like what, you might wonder?
Well, he can’t walk or drive a car yet, but he is able to do the following things:
- He has been smiling for awhile, but now he is smiling more frequently and in response to things.
- Yesterday, he laughed for the first time (it was in his sleep… but it was still a little giggle).
- He can mimic facial expressions that others make (especially sticking out his tongue).
- He can follow things with his eyes. Kyle had fun last night moving things around and watching Dylan’s eyes follow the objects.
- He can hold his head up a little longer and control it a little better when he is lying on his tummy.
- And, he is able to look cute (but this is not a new development).
Here is a video of Dylan mimicking Kyle when he was sticking out his tongue… this actually went on for several minutes, but I cut the video down since it is pretty repetitive, and I think you will get the point in the footage below.
And here is a video of Dylan fighting sleep last night. He gets quite animated when he can’t seem to fall asleep. Sometimes it is funny… as long as he falls asleep before “fussy baby” arrives.
That is it for now. Hope you enjoy!
