The Stevens Family

I have been a little remiss about posting photos and news updates here lately, so I thought I would try and make up for it a little in this post.

To begin, Thursday, January 8th, was Dylan’s one month birthday! He has gotten so big since his birth day, and to chart his growth, I tried my hand at weighing and measuring him. I weighed him by standing on my bathroom scale and holding him and then subtracting my weight from the mix. The difference was exactly ten pounds! Ten pounds is not going to be completely accurate because my scale only weighs in half pound increments and then rounds up, but it is a ballpark weight. So, from his doctor’s appointment at his two week birthday until now, he has gained somewhere close to a pound and a half… what a piggy! I tried to measure his length but I couldn’t keep him from squirming long enough to get any sort of accurate measurement… I am just going to assume he has grown in height.

I decided to take a picture of him in his skivvies so you all could see his pudgy little belly.

In lieu of a party for his one month birthday , Kyle and I decided to go to dinner and take Dylan. Dylan did quite well and slept through the entire thing.

That is about it for the news… I will leave you with one more photo and will try to make an effort to take more pictures and some video this week.
