The Stevens Family

Our friends and family have been really generous. We have had three baby showers and received a ton of baby stuff! I didn’t realize a baby came with so much gear.

The first shower was held at my house and was a small family shower hosted by my best friend Dana. Kyle was off playing golf while we opened presents and hung out.

Here is the table before we dug in.

We didn’t take many pics at the baby shower… at least anymore I feel like sharing (the others look like I have a basketball under my shirt).

The second shower was hosted by Jim and Laura and was held over at their house.  It was a couple’s shower, so Kyle was in attendance and got to open some presents too.

Did I mention… there were LOTS of presents.

This was Kyle’s favorite gift  (for obvious reasons) -a KU warm-up suit from Jim and Laura.

A lot of our friends and Kyle’s colleagues from Bishop Dunne attended the shower. It was lots of fun and the food was fantastic!

The third and final shower was held at my school and was hosted by Sarah, Phillip, Michel, Katie, Maria and Ryan. I don’t really have any pictures to share from this shower because we forgot a camera, and I was too lazy to go downstairs and get one from my office. I did take a picture of one of the diaper cakes (I had two) made by our Early Childhood teacher. It was pretty impressive.

So, the baby showers are over and as you will see in the next post about the nursery, baby Dylan has a ton of stuff. I think he is going to be spoiled once he gets here!
